סיום פרוייקט משותף Windows of Hope של תלמידים משכבת י”א+י”ב מול תלמידים מבית ספר בוורשה, בהובלתם של ירון ניר וחן ברק ובשיתוף “יד ושם”.

מספר ירון ניר, רכז שכבת י”ב שיזם, השתתף והוביל את הפרוייקט:

במסגרת הפרויקט “חלונות של תקווה” התקיימו בשלושת החודשים האחרונים סדרה של פגישות בין תלמידים ומורים מפולין וישראל. קבוצה של תלמידי י”א-י”ב מבית הספר אורט פסגות  אגם דהן, קונסטין אניסקו, אדווה ויטני, אפרת כהנא, מאי אלקסלסי, קרולין אלחרר, שוהם טלקר ואלעד קליין, יחד עם רכזת שכבת י”א ורכזת מגמת צילום חן ברק נפגשנו עם תלמידי ומורי בית ספר תיכון מרובע פרגה בוורשה. התלמידים והמורים מוורשה וכרמיאל שמעו את סיפור הישרדותו של ניצול השואה משה תירוש (הסתתר בין היתר בגן החיות בוורשה והוא הניצול האחרון מקבוצה גדולה של יהודים שניצלו הודות לטוב ליבם של מנהלי גן החיות). בעקבות הסיפור יצרו התלמידים מספר פעילויות אומנותיות שהועלו לעמוד באינסטגרם.

 עם סיום הפרוייקט שלחו השותפים מוורשה מכתב מרגש לביה”ס:

We would like to thank all the teachers and students from Ort Psagot  School, for the time we spend together working on Windows of Hope project. The final day of the project was on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

We would like to express  deep appreciation to Yaron, Hen and Orly, who gave a lot of attention and time, shared with us great ideas, moderated our meetings, took care of our efforts and activities in order to bond young people from Israel and Poland, This is our HOPE.

Thank You students-that you took part in this project. It is an evidence that young people are open to new relationships, based on respect, history, culture and tradition those two experienced nations. Our nations have been connected from many years. We hope that some day we can meet together in one place face to face, we believe it will happen
